- What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies (e.g., local storage, pixels, SDK tags) help run the site, measure usage, and support attribution.
- CMP behavior (consent mechanism)
Our Consent Management Platform (CMP):
- Loads on first visit in applicable regions
- Blocks non-essential tags by default
- Allows granular opt-in by category
- Stores consent status, timestamp, and policy version
- Supports later consent changes/withdrawal
- Consent logging
We log consent state changes (accept/reject/category-level choices), timestamp, and policy version for compliance evidence.
- How consent affects tag loading
- Necessary category: always active
- Analytics category: loaded only after analytics consent
- Advertising/affiliate category: loaded only after ad/attribution consent
- If consent is withdrawn: non-essential tags are disabled for future page loads/events
- Cookie categories
A) Strictly necessary
- Core session/security/load balancing/consent-state
B) Analytics
- Traffic, behavior, conversion analysis
C) Advertising + personalization
- Ad relevance/frequency/measurement
D) Affiliate attribution
- Referral click IDs, campaign source integrity, conversion attribution
- GA4 retention (if GA4 enabled)
If Google Analytics 4 is used, retention is configured to [2 months / 14 months] for event-level data (set final value in implementation), with aggregation policies per Google settings.
